Story
Help us make a difference to families in need this year by sponsoring our staff to walk / run the Bridge to Bribane and raise much needed funds for our charity partner Micah Projects.
Micah Projects respond to people experiencing exclusion, poverty, injustice and social islation so that they may experience inclusion, economic wellbeing, justice and connection within their community of choice. They support individuals and families experiencing a range of systems and personal challenges:
* Working with Families, Women and Children * Domestic Violence Service * Working with Forgotten Australians * Brisbane Homelessness Services Collaborative * Inclusive Health - Partnerships in healthcare for all * Mental Health and Disability Services * Innovation, Research and Evaluation.
Across their teams, Micah Projects works with vulnerable adults to - access a home, live free from violence, access healthcare, sustain recovery and stability, and access economic opportunities. They support families to create healthy, safe environments where their children's needs are met, and children can participate in education and access specialist services.

Micah Projects is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing services and opportunities in the community to create justice and respond to injustice. We engage with people experiencing adversity due to poverty, homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, disability and all forms of discrimination.Micah Projects works to break down barriers that exclude people from housing, healthcare, employment, meaningful connections, and to give people a voice. We assist and support each individual or family including children, to resolve crisis, break social isolation, have a home, access health and community services, and build community.
